“The 12 Days of Christmas” song first appeared in print in the 1780 children’s book Mirth Without Mischief.
Surya is a Hindu-background believer who has a Master of Divinity and is in full-time ministry. He is the president of a network of 80 churches in Taplejung, Nepal. He has been helping Lok coordinate our training seminars in this high-altitude, mountainous district. Surya not only helps the training take root in the hearts of the leaders by following up with them and encouraging them, but he also organizes outreaches to remote villages in the Himalayas.
In 2024, he led ministry teams to five unreached villages that are at least 10,000 feet above sea level. It took them two days of trekking to reach the villages. They brought gospel recordings and tracts in the local language. They spent two days going from house to house, looking for a man of peace.
Pray for the villagers who have heard the gospel through the outreaches, that their hearts would be open to receive the good news.
