One speculation regarding “The 12 Days of Christmas” song is that each verse represents a tenet of the Christian faith. However, there is no substantive evidence to support this theory.
Joel pastors a church of 18 families in Bihar. He was born into a Christian family, and he received training at India Mission Bible College. In 2008, he started reaching out to the Santali tribal community in Bihar. In 2016, after meeting Lok, Joel began going through the Kingdom Rain training, along with other pastors from Bihar. He shares, “By the end of the training, I was greatly challenged by the life of Christ, and I decided to take the training to others. We trained several leaders from Bihar and Nepal who were mostly Santali. In the middle of the training, we formed a ministry team to do outreaches. Several years later, the team has still been working closely together to reach out to our community. Starting in 2025, we plan to work cross culturally among the Dalits and other marginalized communities in Bihar.”
Pray that Joel, his family, and ministry team will grow strong in the Lord. Pray also that the Lord will save at least 20 people through their outreaches in 2025.
